00s Dante O. Benini & Luca Gonzo ‘LLT wood’ dining table for Fiam
LLT Wood designed by Dante O. Benini and Luca Gonzo for Fiam is a table with top in 40 mm plywood, covered in “Old” style oak veneer. Structure in 30 mm laminated glass and legs in 19 mm glass.
Rare design and it is called LLT wood because Fiam is specialized in glass tables and this is one design combining glass with beautiful wood. LLT is the model name and the Wood extension is because of the wooden tabletop of course.
Student of Scarpa and Niemeyer, Dante O. Benini carried out and participated to building projects worldwide. In 1997 he founded “Dante O. Benini & Partners Architects” of which he is at present Leader Partner and Chairman together with Architect Luca Gonzo Senior Partner and Managing Director. The practice with offices in Milan and Istanbul has specific departments dedicated to architectural project, urban planning, interiors, yacht and object design. Each project is designed on the basis of technical, economic and environmental sustainability, within a quality architectural context based on details care.
This makes the LLT wood table one of a kind table for highly luxury interiors. The table is in good condition consistent with age and use.
