The Revolt is the design of Friso Kramer from 1953, with which the designer started a revolution. The frame of pressed and bent sheet steel, the seat and back of new bending plastic and the innovative click system with which frame and seat are attached to each other make the design exceptional. With renewed U-profiles that are more resistant to pressure, Kramer saved material, resulting in a cheaper and lighter chair. In terms of ergonomics, the design was also ahead of the very latest insights. Revolt is the first real industrial furniture mass product that was made in the Netherlands.

A minimalistic and functional design, with high comfort. The seat and backrest of the Revolt are ergonomically shaped and move with you, making you extra comfortable. The design philosophy of Friso Kramer: a chair that is completely functional and serving, without fuss. A no-nonsense chair. A chair for everyone.

As early as 1953, the Revolt was considered very innovative in several respects and conquered a permanent place in both the business world and the Dutch living room. The Revolt chair comes into its own in any environment.

This beautiful set of 8 original 1950s chairs is made with the pleasant ciranol on a beautiful steel frame and that has a beautiful patina.
