50s Isamu Noguchi ‘prismatic table’ for Vitra set/5
A Prismatic table in white by Isamu Noguchi for Vitra. Designed in 1957 and authorized as re-edition in 2002 by Vitra. The table design was based on geometric forms and has an interesting three-legged base with a hexagonal top. Made of folded sheet aluminium inspired by Japanese paper folding techniques. Marked with label and manufactured in about 2010.
With this unique set of 5 pieces they can be used single but also to be combined in a lot of different forms, as we show on the pictures. Combined with each other the set can be noted as coffee table with the great advantage flexibility when there are more visitors who would like to join their glass directly next to their chairs.
