This triangle teak nesting table set has been designed by Poul Thorsbjerg Jensen for Selig Denmark. The Selig production was in the 1950s positioned on the Island Sjaelland in Denmark in the city Haslev where more
great furniture designs and productions found their origin. Haslev does not exist anymore as a city name and is called nowadays Fakse. Nowadays traveling between the world and Sjaelland is much easier than in the 1950s, some Danish great furniture designers choose to design and manufacture with a general view on their more isolated Island in perspective. This kind of designing was basically why the danish designs became timeless and very desirable all over the world.

Poul Thorsbjerg Jensen for example designed technically and esthetically very beautiful items and was not working on his own image at all. Beautiful and slim design plus a combination of materials for long-lasting usage. That combination of all makes this triangle nesting tables with the on metal mounted beautiful legs different from other danish designs from the 1950s. Jensen combined also practical usage in his designs, this set has for example no curling edges but other models, which are more seen, do have them. This set of three is unique and rare to find.
