This mid-century Brazilian brutalist style patched leather lounge chair was created by a group of young Brazilian designers who, throughout the 1960s and 1970s, designed some of the most extraordinary furniture, using traditional materials and techniques with a progressive, relaxed attitude.

The design of the chair is in the style of modern mid-century designers like Jean Gillon, Percival Lafer and Sergio Rodrigues. The chair is handcrafted and features a frame in solid wood supporting a very thick leather sling seat stitched with gaucho style leather lacing. The lounge chair is in good condition and the leather cushion features a patina.
