Arkana Limited was a British furniture manufacturer based in Bath in the 1960s and 1970s and became known for their mid-century modern style furniture.

The furniture manufacturer originally existed on Glasgow Road in Falkirk, Scotland. In the mid to late 1960s, Arkana was acquired by the Christie Tyler Group, which also included Avalon Furniture and the Bath Cabinet Makers. Arkana then moved production to the Bath Cabinet Makers premises on Lower Bristol Road in Bath, England.

Canadian Maurice Prentice Burke (1921–2013) designed numerous seating and tables for the company, many of which were made of plastic such as polystyrene. But also wood and metal or all materials combined.

The dining and office chair set we offer is probably the most known and made of steel covered in plastic. The set has a swivel seat and is in good condition consistent with age and use. Note these chairs are in age of about 60 years!
