60s Th. Harlev cowhorn chair for Farstrup
Farstrup Furniture was founded in 1910 and started as a sawmill. The production location located in the beautiful surroundings of Langesøskovene west of Odense was optimal, since the transport of the large wooden trunks could then be carried out by a horse cart.
The manufacture of chairs following from 1918 was the basis for the growth that has characterized Farstrup Furniture until today. Chair production began in the 1950s and 1960s, and the company has since produced millions of high-quality chairs.
