70s Leo Bub teak sideboard for Bub Wertmöbel
Leo Bub set up his workshop in the German town of Poppenhausen in 1933 with the aim of manufacturing high-quality cabinets. This step and his craftsmanship were the basis of a wonderful family business that continued to focus primarily on making and designing cabinets of high-quality design and quality. It almost reached it’s 100 years existence as a family company. In 2018 the company of the Bub family was taken over by Andres Rossmar, who modernized the company and then, together with Ludwig Köhler, secured the future of the factory and started developing it further in the Premium range of the cabinet market. Leo Bub already made cabinets for the Piure brand, and with that the acquisition was actually a logical continuation of the original family business Leo Bub Wertmöbel GmbH.
This beautiful ‘floating’ sideboard has 3 doors and 4 drawers. It rests on a black lacquered metal frame, and is in good condition consistent with age and use.
