70s lounge chair ‘Buddha’ designed by Sonja Wasseur

Sonja Wasseur started designing furniture in 1970 after she had worked for several furniture makers as designer, she wanted to do something else, make special furniture. And she succeeded. She made furniture in very small productions and did refuse mass production of here items. She wanted to renew, improve and inspire. This Buddha chair is designed in the early 70s and made of solid oak wood, dark brown stained. The seat and back are finished with leather, superbly stitched at the back with a metal structure inside. This fauteuil is in fantastic original condition with normal wear from age and usage.
