Ate Van Apeldoorn style coffee table. Ate worked a lot with Holland by Houtwerk Hattem in the 1970s. The style reminds of Scandinavian modernism, like Swedish designer Sven Larsson or French designers Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Chapo. This table shows connections of wood that are that rare that we can assume the table is Ate van Apeldoorn, thought the table has no brandmark. Beautiful design in good condition consistent with age and use.
