When Tommaso Cimini set up Lumina in 1980, he already had one principle very clear in his mind: it is function that generates form. As had happened in fact with the Daphine, a linear, essential, indeed iconic lamp on which the history of the company was to be based.

The will to keep production on the original site in Arluno
(Italy), innate craft capability and quality control are still, after 40 years, the key strengths of Lumina. The founder’s legacy is clearly active in the company’s business culture. His son Ettore Cimini is running the company nowadays.

The Lumina Zelig Terra floor lamp was designed by A. Monici for Lumina. All Lumina lamps are handmade at the studio in Arluno (Italy). Its design and used materials give this lamp a special appearance.

The Zelig Terra has a unique balancing system using a beautiful counterweight, so you can always place the lamp into the desired position and put it to multifunctional use. The lamp has a large range thanks to the arms. A striking feature is that there are no visible hinges, which reinforces its elegance and which suggests the contours of a large bird.

This lamp has been made in two versions, of which this floor lamp (Terra) is the largest. Floorlamp in good condition consistent with age and use.
