Ana Lucia Barrios Mendoza ‘hefty sculpture’ handmade sculpture

Ana Lucia Barrios Mendoza was born in Bolivia (Santa Cruz) in 1990, settled in Barcelona Spain since 2002 and dedicated to the metallurgical sector since 2002 when she awakened her concern for metal art in her small family workshop, when she was just a girl. She has created designs for several Spanish nationwide-renown firms and for exhibitions at the Barri Gotic in Barcelona. This object is named ‘hefty sculpture’ and there is only 1 piece made of by Ana Lucia. The work comes with signature and certificate of Authenticity signed by Ana Lucia. ‘Hefty’ is made of corten steel and handwelded.

Hefty can be positioned differently but the way Ana Lucia designed it it looks like walking feet. All material is honest as steel and also the rusty is part of the artwork and looks and feels natural, this part of the artwork gives it a lot of interesting new depth and different looks in many directions.
