Leonie Janssen is a Dutch multidisciplinary design agency, focussing on product design, interior design, graphic design
and artwork. Leonie started her company in 2006. Leonie gained a lot of experience in the fields of hospitality, retail, work- and public spaces, and exhibition design. Enthusiasm, curiosity and eye for detail are the ingredients that always define Leonie Janssen’s playful designs and strong visual language. She is continuously exploring, innovating and always aspire to be surprising The I’mperfect furniture collection was created from a fascination for the human body. Leonie translated body-typology into a collection of chairs and stools. Fat legs, thin waist, big breasts, muscular arms, round bellies and broad hips, the differences are endless. For everything we see in the world around us, we have a ‘perfect’ image in mind, an appearance whereto we aspire. Instead of searching for perfection, this collection of human shaped furniture shows the beauty of different proportions; the beauty of imperfection.

With the nice word-name: I am perfect. This handmade collection is all finished with a matt rough coating on massive wood. The base of the idea for this series dates of Leonie’s Graduation Projects for the Design Academy in Eindhoven the Netherlands. Set of six pieces in good condition with minor spurs of usage.
