Ton van Kesteren painting

Ton van Kesteren (1942) is a much sought-after Dutch artist. He followed courses at the academy for visual arts St. Joost in Breda and at the academy V.S.V.U. in Bratislava. Ton lives and works in Hoorn in an old school building. His work is included in numerous collections and he exhibits at home and abroad.

For Ton van Kesteren, painting is a continuous battle between order and chaos, between balance and distortion, between beautiful and ugly.
