Torstein Nilsen dining table for Westnofa

This rare glass dining table was designed in Norway in 1984 by Torstein Nilsen for Westnofa.
The table shows a frame in thin lines of very luxury and high quality made natural oak lacquered in black. The individual legs of the ‘fan form’ are ‘connected’ to eachother with solid wooden balls. This design is a steady example of scandinavian modernism, the Memphis Group and architectural post-modernism. The table works out fine with almost any chair to be combined because of the transparent glass.
