Toshiyuki Kita designed the ‘wink’ fauteuil in 1980 for Cassina.

Stretch your legs and lie down or sit. The headrest can be moved freely, and the colored covers on each part can be switched as easily as changing clothing and washed at home, lending this piece a high degree of originality.

The chair has a concave, reclining back with the adjustable headrest divided into two parts. The back reclines via two black plastic turning knobs on either side of base. The concave seat with curved armrests extends to the footrest which folds under the seat. The reclining back and extending footrest convert the chair to a chaise longue. The armchair floor support consists of four black plastic caps at the corners of the footrest. The chaise longue floor support consists of four black plastic circular pads, two each to the underside of the seat and footrest.

The chair is part of the permanent collection of te MOMA museum in New York, Pompidou Centre in Paris, Vitra Design Museum in Germany.

This chair is new, never been sat on. Very beautiful and luxury chair/ chaise longue.
