The Panton Chair is a Monobloc chair and one of the most famous designs by the Danish designer Verner Panton.

The Panton chair is a plastic chair that is produced in different colours. The chair was the first chair to be made from a single piece of continuous, undulating plastic.

Verner Panton designed the chair named after him in 1959, inspired by the design of the Zigzag chair by Gerrit Rietveld (1932). It became an icon of the 1960s. It was released by Herman Miller, among others, and is now distributed by Vitra. This special S-shape is often imitated. Towards the end of the 20th century the Panton chair was brought back into production and in 2006 a children’s version was also released

This set of 4 chairs is by Vitra and in good condition appropriate to age and use. It has 4 matching cushions from hey specially made for the panton chair. But it is also to be used without the cushion of course.
