50s Metal writing deks with chair for Lips

In the 1950s-1960s work changed more and more from handwork in factories towards desk sitting work. There was a huge demand in the market for solid industrial but mainly practicial writing desks. LIPS in the netherlands designed a number of those industrial indestructible metal desks, who are nowadays very wished for design. This desk is marked Lips and has a semi-softtop of those years. The matching deskchair is from Friso Kramer for Ahrend de Cirkel. The set is timeless and in good condition consistent with age ande use.
