Poul Cadovius, the architect and furniture designer, became world famous with his freestanding Royal System design.
Timeless design by the master, Royal System wall elements are still in high demand.

Throughout his career, Cadovius has designed furniture that offered endless combinations and easily blended into all kinds of interior styles. His big break came in 1948 when he designed the famous Royal System. The system has many designs and countless combination options.

In the mid-1960s, Cadovius bought the famous furniture maker France & Son and renamed it CADO. However, he also continued to create France & Son designs and collaborated with many top Danish design designers. He had to close CADO’s doors in the 1970s. But Poul Cadovius was alive at that time and died only in 2011 at the age of 99!
