The Diamond Chair is an astounding study in space, form and function by one of the master sculptors of the last century, Harry Bertoia. Bertoia found sublime grace in an industrial material, elevating it beyond its normal utility into a work of art. Harry Bertoia’s wire chairs are among the most recognized achievements of mid-century modern design and a proud part of the Knoll heritage. It is absolutely timeless design, the design was drawn by Harry in 1952 and still today these chairs are to be delivered new by Knoll. This piece is from the late 1970s and in good condition consistent with age and use. The jute seat has some spots in it but is functional. The chair is in general good condition consistent with age and use.
