80s A&E Design ‘lucifer’ table lamp for Fagerhults

Lucifer is a desk lamp made entirely of plastic and designed for Fagerhult in 1975 by the well-known designer duo A&E Design, Tom Ahlström and Hans Ehrich. The duo had an early interest in plastics and their benefits, and in shape and design as a functional aid. Its versatility and contemporary look made Lucifer a natural contributor to most people’s offices and homes. The high quality of light was, as always, also of great importance in this project.
Lucifer returned in 2000 as an anniversary fixture, in limited edition, but is no longer in production. This piece is from the early 1980s and in good and working condition.
