80s Rob Eckhardt ‘Pouffe Garni’ Lounge Chairs for Pastoe set/2

The ‘pouffe garni’ loounge fauteuil has been designed by Rob Eckhardt and Maarten Vrolijk in 1987 for Pastoe. The chairs were made by Pastoe in 1986. Eckhardt’s most well-known design for Pastoe was the “Groeten uit Holland” chair in 1983. After this success he started his own company that produced these Pouffe Garni chairs in a small production. Pouffe Garni fauteuils are part of the collection of Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.

This set has beautiful grey/black kvadrat fabric seating, the original wooden ‘bal’ front feet and a low fabric made 1980s design ‘backrest’. This ad concerns 2 original Pastoe Pouffe Garni fauteuils plus 1 matching table. Only to be sold as 1 set. All beautiful and in good condition consistent with age and use.
