Born in Helsinki in 1932 Eero Aarnio studied interior and industrial design and worked for Tapiovaara and Asko before launching his own studio. His work has been used a lot in fims, videos and fashion shoots. Aarnio won several awards and is shown in a lot of musea arround the world. Up to today he is still practicing from his studio in Helsinki.This set of four amazingly shaped black wooden stools is called EA001. He designed the EA001 primarly for his home kitchen bar. Full wooden quality, timeless object. Good condition consistent with age and use.
