Amazing life size dress boy or servo muto from designer Marc Sadler for Italian high end company Boffi.

This work of art is called ‘Gaston’. A true and stunning piece of art. Heavy and large. Metal with chrome. Drawers of massive wood. Top (for hat) of red velvet. Great condition. Including shoe horn of heavy copper and three drawers.

With a metal wheel you can adjust the width of the dress boy. The range of ‘gaston’ is exclusive and Sadler gave them numbers, this is number 612.

Marc Sadler was born in Innsbruck, Austria in 1946. He is a French citizen and after having studios in New York, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Venice he currently lives in Milan. Sadler graduated from the “Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs” (E.N.S.A.D.) in Paris in 1968. In 1969 he founded “Deco Design” and joined the group “France Design” in 1970. Continuing his research into plastic materials he created products for the most different sectors, from sport (in 1998 the Museum of Modern Art in New York added his back protector, designed for Dainese, to its permanent collection) to the sector of furnishings and mass consumption products. Marc Sadler works for Beretta, Faram, Watco and Matrix in the United States and Fratelli Guzzini in Italy. Since 2002 he has been art director of Ideal Standard, in charge of the company’s design strategy at European level. For Boffi he created the Alukit kitchen and bathroom system, and this ‘dumb waiter’ Gaston and the multiuse bathroom column Totem.
