90s Pepe Cortes ‘jamaica’ aluminium stool for Amat set/6

Since beginning his career in the 1960s, modern Spanish designer Pepe Cortés began to be recognized in the early 70s with multiple awards including the ADI-FAD Silver Delta Award, the Design Auswahl Award, and the National Design Award. Produced by Amat, these stamped seats sit on chromed steel splayed legs. Their ergonomic saddle-form seats are made from polished aluminum. There are two ‘models’ of these stools produced, the more common higher once and this set of low stools. Six pieces with the fauteuil seat heigth of 45cm makes this set unique, fit for dining and to be used on several other places in the house.
