It is quite easy to see that this high back chair is a work of art in itself. The maker of this chair is the Dutch artist, furniture maker Cor Bras from Oud-Beijerland. Information about the artist is hard to find, but the fact that he drew inspiration from interesting constructions for his furniture is actually proven by the chair he designed for the 10th anniversary of the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam. Cor was also born in Rotterdam but lives and works in Oud-Beijerland. Almost all items that are marketed are single pieces, handmade and therefore very unique.

This highback chair lives up to its name with the 218cm height that the object reaches. The steel construction of the leg supports the seat, but also the high backrest and the metalwork of the armrest in itself is clearly handicraft and beautiful art in itself. The wood structure of the wood used also deserves attention, because Cor’s attention is visible everywhere in the woodwork. Beautiful dark oak wood with an openwork structures that is then closed with gray-colored resins. Put this chair in your home and you will immediately have conversation and attention from visitors.

Chair is unique artwork, extremely rare and in very good condition!
