Michelin formula 1 tyre coffee table

Michelin has been in Formula 1 between 1977 and 1984. After a silent period they returned in 2001 in autosport. Between 1984 and 2001 tyres and other things where added to general markets. From 2001 to 2011 (ten years) Michelin was again in the Fromula 1. And (same as in the years after 1984 again tyres came to the market. How is actually a little mystery because this tyre dates from 2012 a year in which Michelin was not in Formula 1. Was Michelin also pre-producing basic slick tyres for the next year? But Formula 1 decided in 2011 to choose for only 1 manufacturer and stopped with Michelin, who did not like the choice of Formula 1 but had no part in the decision. And again like after 1984 tyres came in mysterious ways to the market, most interesting is if this tyre is preproduced for a season that never came for Michelin. In 2012 some private person changed the tyre into a round coffee table, most likely according to the previous owner, by a French garage owner. Just matching a round glass table top that fits on to the tyre and voila, here the table has been born.
