Gianni Versace medusa coin gold plated bracelet watch

Medusa is a monstrous figure from Greek mythology. Medusa is the daughter of Phorcys and Ceto and is the most famous of the three Gorgons.

Medusa once had a special beauty. However, to her chagrin, she lived in a land where the sun never shone. Medusa begged Athena to let her leave for sunny lands. Athena did not allow this because she feared that people would praise Medusa for her beauty, not her.

In another version of the myth, Medusa is said to have aroused Athena’s wrath because Poseidon raped her in Athena’s temple. The enraged Athena took revenge by turning Medusa’s beautiful hair into a heap of writhing snakes. Furthermore, anyone who looked Medusa in the face would petrify on the spot.

This Gianni Versace Medusa watch could have been viewed by Versace both ways. Pure beauty that was offered extra light by the gold color that the watch wears. But even if I am wearing an unattainable beauty, keep your distance from me otherwise you will experience problems.

The watch therefore fits beautifully into the myth. Versace designed a whole line with bracelets and earrings in Medusa style.

This special Watch has a rare gold colour strap ánd clock. 5 (!) gold plates.  Designed by Gianni Versace and made in Switzerland. Numbered. There are no flaws on the glass. The coin bracelet itself is wide and large. The watch is 20 cm long from end to end and fits large wrists. In addition, the clock has a diameter of 35 mm, goldplated also.

The back of this copy still has the original plastic protective layer, making it undamaged and like new. It is designed as unisex. The gold plating is in very good condition. Not only is this watch beautiful and wears like an arm jewel, but it runs exactly on time due to the high quality Swiss movement.

Further the original box comes with the piece. Very good condition!
