Rodolfo Dordoni (born 1954 in Milan, Italy) is an Italian designer of furniture and furnishings. Dordoni graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic of Milan in 1979. He then worked for ten years until 1989 as art director for Cappellini International and was also responsible for the company’s external appearance. As artistic director of the Milan furniture manufacturer Minotti, he has been responsible for designing the company’s collections since 1997. His special areas of expertise include lamps and furniture, systems for storage, kitchens, bathroom accessories, carpets and also sockets and light switches. He worked as art director for other furniture and design companies. These include Foscarini SRL and Minotti, among others. Dordoni’s designs were also realized by Italian and foreign companies such as Artemide, De Sede and Kettal. He has been working with Dolce & Gabbana since 1995, where he is responsible for the design and interior design of shops and showrooms and for home furnishings.

The sophisticated ‘Roma’ Chair is a one-material chair that is completely wrapped in a leather, for a look that conveys formal elegance and refined workmanship. Manufactured by the Italian Minotti. Crafted with exposed black zippers along the side of the chair, this set of 8 evidences the timelessness of classic Italian design. Set is in good condition consistent with age and use.
