Beautiful french head sculpture by Aoussauti

From a gallery in Nice Cannes France this large head has a signature of Aoussauti. Very little is to find about this signature but for sure this is a unique masterpiece. It is a beautiful large sculpture in french plaster with lots of bronze teint.

Natural gypsum in dihydrate form is a naturally occurring mineral and is found all over the world. The most important and best-known location of plaster is in and around Paris, the Paris Basin, this plaster is also called “Plaster of Paris”.

Artists like to work with this material because of it’s strength and hardness and the material becomes timeless, in addition to the fact that it is of course wonderful to work with. This sculpture is French and is in beautiful condition.
