Wall-lamp ‘hola parete’ for Foscarini set/2
In 1981 Foscarini was founded on the island of Murano (Venice). It created lighting systems for the contract sector. After 2 years the company started with design lamps.
In the 80s the company worked with the best designers like Joseph Mancini, Carlo Urbinati, Rodolfo Dordoni. Working with the best designers is part of the Forscarini DNA.
In the 90s the company changed from glass into other materials like polyethylene or later towards carbon fiber or kevlar. Also the company moved to the mainland to Marcon.
In the early 00s Marc Sadler and Patricia Urquiola designed for Foscarini.
Foscarini designs with an independence from any production constraints, which translates into freedom of ideas.
The company’s 35 years of collaborations with international designers and mastery of lighting resulted in a long list of design icons integrated into domestic or collective environments globally.
The ‘hola part’ wall sconce of Foscarini has the 80s structure of using glass but also new for those days: holagen bar bulbs. Which are nowadays easily to be replaces by led bar bulbs. This set is in good condition and we also have an extra set available of 3 pieces. Please contact us about it.
