Jos Laugs ‘rapido’ lounge chair for Furnitura set/2

Jos Laugs (1958) was born in the Nieuwstadt municipality of Susteren in the Netherlands and attended the Stads Academy voor Toegepasten Kunsten in Maastricht in the 1980s. He worked in Roermond in 1989 and later in Linne. Jos is an artist and there are works by him in the Stedelijk Museum Roermond and for Furnitura he was responsible for design and furniture design. Often pronounced design in which straight lines often give the furniture design a tighter character, just like the ‘rapido’ lounge armchairs from the late 1980s. The chair is made with various materials, metal, wood and leather and this unique set of 2 pieces is in good condition consistent with age and use.
